There can be 100 stadiums, but all you need is for one stadium to be a baseball stadium and it's not a proper stadium tour

I’m so sad that I won’t be going to this tour :( Stadiums don’t have air conditioning so that’s a big no no for me. I will 100% pass out.

Don’t play with me, it just hurts me.

Some do! I’m not sure what show you’re closest to but the stadium in Dallas is air conditioned and very comfortable. I saw Green Day there in the blazing summer and it was very comfortable inside

Like 😭☠️😭 Dead topic but there aren’t even football stadiums in Canada like plsss. Rogers Centre is the best she’ll get here and at like 50k, it’s pretty damn good and an upgrade over the classic Scotiabank Arena

I don’t think it’s a problem, but it is a little odd that she isn’t playing larger stadiums in the US when she can sell out those larger venues. It won’t ruin the show or anything like that, but I am curious as to why they chose to do smaller stadiums in the US.

I’m really sad it’s not an arena tour because stadiums, whether they’re baseball or football, always feel less intimate, have worse acoustics, and unless you’re in the GA pit the stage is always much further away :neyde:

While I agree that Stadium shows feel less intimate.  Open air concerts have SUPERIOR sound quality. Arenas the sound is louder but gets trapped and bounces around amplifying weird frequency and overtones. In arenas Gaga's voice takes on a higher almost mini mouse sound to me while open air venues that sound waves are free to move towards you resulting in a sound that is natural. I am an audio engineer by trade. Loud does not equal good 7 minutes at 100 db is enough for permanent hearing damage. Who wants a constant ringing in their ear, tinnitus? ALWAYS wear hearing protection like etymotics, it lowers the dB, attenuates, without  distorting the sound to indoor venues whether its 1000 seat or 30000. Audio engineer who mix in arenas have in ear monitors in  like the artist to protect their hearing so the aren't even listening to the music coming out of the speakers every night. We love outdoor venues cause we can take those out and actually hear what your hearing. Gaga will take at least one in ear monitor during the show at a stadium tour something she never does in an arena show. With in ear monitors in an artist can't hear their fans screaming unless the audience is mic-d and mixed into the mix of the show

We got the Estadio Azteca in Mexico, a Soccer Stadium... she should add one date here so it's a proper stadium tour :ally:

Shakira performed there with El Dorado tour and it was a sold out show.

Azteca Stadium capacity: 87523

Also she doesn't have to worry because we are in a pandemic, big part of the population have been vaxed (since anti vax theories doesn't seem to be a big deal here) and Dua Lipa sold out her show JUST IN THE PRE-SALE.

but Dua will be on Foro Sol wich is a baseball stadium too :cyanlights:

Saw her at Fenway for JWT, terrible experience so got much different (hopefully better!) seats this time. Would much rather see her at TD Garden; even Gillette would be better

It does limit what they can do production-wise... no ceiling to hook props/staging up to

Idk… I’ve never been to a stadium concert. Everyone is saying arenas are better… which is… kinda concerning. But I got pit so ☠️ This is a once in a lifetime event methinks. I’m so glad it’s happening and held out hope when it wasn’t popular to do so. I hope everyone can experience this show, irl or thru their screens ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

I prefer stadium tours, they feel like a much bigger event and it’s always an incredible moment seeing that many people come together for music.

If you’re a sound quality snob, arenas tend to sound better as they’re catered towards live shows rather than sport events but you’ll be having too much fun to care.
