tyler k 4,909
Not at all! I saw MARINA in Austin this past weekend by myself and made such great friends with the people in line with me, we stood together right next to the stage and talked for hours about our favorite bands & concerts & got to know each other it was so great. We found her tour bus after the show and waited together again like an another hour or so to see MARINA it was so fun I'm going to the Chromatica Ball by myself, got standing room tickets and I'm so excited to have a similar experience but with Gaga stans. mmmy name ~isn't~ aliceee
IndyMelissa 198
Not at all! Im going to NKOTB by myself. Gaijin 341
Went to the Born This Way Ball alone, and ran into GGD users and other acquaintances I knew who liked Gaga. Had an absolutely wild night. Was great. If you can rock out and make a fool of yourself, by yourself, no “friends” will record it and show it to you later either. Go off! Dance! SCREAM! SHOUT! Pop a 911! 珈琲ちょうだい

I see there are threads for specific shows in the Chromatical Ball forum so maybe you can ask there, or create a topic for your show if it isnt listed there yet so you can ask. I'll be going alone more than likely too. Thanks! Are there other platforms where Gaga fans arrange to meet each other?

I’ve been to numerous concerts alone and you don’t even notice you are alone when the concert starts. And when you’re there with someone you don’t even notice you are not alone when the concert starts. All you’ll be doing is paying attention to the artist and singing along and having a good time. Yes and nobody around is going to care that you're alone or not You popped my heart seams, all my bubble dreams

Omegahedron 163
Nope. Nope. Nope. Not at all. I often find myself in a similar position. My music tastes seem to diverge from my friend's tastes, so I often have a choice of going alone ... or not at all. I choose the former. I go to gigs all the time by myself. I have a blast and spend it with tens, hundreds and thousands of fellow fans. In a sense, although going with mates is fun, I think it can be quite exciting to go alone. Go with an open mind and heart and a little bit of a sense of adventure and bravery and say hi to the people around you. Ask what their favourite song is. You might just find people who appreciate your taste in music

I have had the same exact experience where I go alone probably 50% of the time because my tastes diverge from a lot of my friends. I was kind of nervous the first time I went alone, but I ended up telling myself it was one night and if it went badly or people were mean so what...and people weren't mean and instead were lovely. No one is going to judge someone for being alone (well, maybe a petty jerk or a really young kid) and a lot of people are very friendly. Two of my closest friends I met at a show when I first moved to a new area...they sort of adopted me when we started talking with one another. Oddly enough, I feel like Gaga is probably one of the more ideal artists to see alone. There's a pretty wide age range in the fan base, even if the bulk of the fans are probably mid 20s+, and there's usually at least a dozen drunk friendly drag queens (as someone earlier in the thread noted lol). Celloo Deng 53,686
I just wanted to say thank you OP and the people replying in this thread for making me feel like it's completely okay to go to a concert alone. I've always backed out if nobody else wanted to come with me and missed out on the ArtRave and seeing Britney because of this. I'm excited to go to TCB solo and want to do this more in future so I can see all my faves! do i need to understand a pineapple to eat a banana
Head Empty 24,314
I've been to many concerts in the past 10+ years, but my absolute favorite is still that one time I went by myself.
