I know we shouldn’t compare but imagine if Gaga had thrown a temper tantrum like The Weekend after being snubbed by the Oscars  She’s so mature and humble

Gaga is not only humble but also smart. 

she knows her chances are not over with one movie. 

she have a full long career ahead of her and it's not only pointless but also short sighted to make such a big deal for not being nominated for ONE album. 

when Tay didn't get a nomination for REP she said "it doesn't matter because i will make a better album" and BOOM, sistren sweeped 2 years later.

and I still don’t understand his reaction, After Hours was very successful, but it wasn’t like the most acclaimed album of the year or something. I mean, if Kendrick can’t win album of the year with his “genius” album (regarded by many), then I’m not surprised by anything.

Maybe this is just a glitch or something, seems weird for someone at the Grammys to randomly decide to get rid of his stats, as if it actually does anything

How is it not comparable? Both of them were highly expected to get a nomination but were shockingly snubbed. Yet both of them reacted in complete opposite ways. It’s a completely fair observation.

he didn't get even one nomination for "After Hours" or "Blinding Lights". he talked with The Grammys about performance but he reportedly had to decline due to his Super Bowl contract. there's probably something to this story that we don't know...

I think The Weeknd gave back his awards and asked them to remove his wins and nominations. It is unlikely that it is a glitch.

I wish he said why tho, like told us that Grammys didn’t nominate because “…”. 

it definitely was a big snub, but maybe because I don’t like After Hours or Blinding Lights I didn’t find it shocking.
