Honestly having Nicky Doll as the main host just shows how drag culture is not that big of a deal in France  

Meanwhile Brazil has one of the greatest drag scenes around the world and it’s not getting a Drag Race franchise show anytime soon :saladga:

Tbh she's the only french queen from RDR and a fan favorite so it's possibly a way to get non-french fans to check this version...

They can't find a producer in Brazil despite the huge local RDR fanbase? Here in France it's public TV making it happen.

Not really? Nicky was underrated uni and it shows that drag culture is more fashion based in France

I mean season 12 was extremely competitive. One of the best seasons ever so coming 10th place is actually a great achievement. And obviously, she is the most famous drag queen from France just because she is the only one to ever compete on Drag Race, so her hosting is just natural.

Well public television channels are pretty big here alongside the private ones indeed but I'm curious to see if they'll let it on the network online platform or air it on TV too. It can be pretty sexual at times so I doubt it.

I’m so glad for Nicky Doll! They came off as a very knowledgeable individual that that just struggled with the language barrier. I wish them the best! It’s so crazy how Drag Race is sort of becoming “self sustainable” in the way that its producing its own talent for spin offs! 

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were conversations high up about having Valentina on Mexico (allegedly coming) seeing as her heritage has been a main focal point of her persona and she’s very much one of the most popular contestants to come out of the show.
