This economic shock can ruin lives, and Putin is so selfish and such a war mongerer he won't care that he's hurting his own people in addition to Ukrainians. The Russian people waking up and resisting this regime is the only way to end this war. Putin’s regime has to end. Make no mistake, Putin‘s reason to do all of this is to stay in power. It's the russian ruble currency in relation to the global anchor currency which is the US dollar. In that case it means for 1$ you get ~85 ruble.
