I want him so bad but I only have 600 coins so far. Interesting method of obtaining a pokemon though, I like that they diversified the methods so much in this gen. 

Now if only you didn't have to look it up and they actually told you what those methods were ingame

Not-So-Fun-Fact: when I started playing the game, I thought you could buy TM materials instead of selling them at the TM machine, and accidentally sold 100 of my Gimmighoul coins  that’s what I get for not reading throughly and just smashing the A button

Yeah but the other NPCs give you a Haunter (which will evolve) and...I forget what the other one gives but it's easily catchable later, I know that much.

but, frfr, one is in Cortondo, wants Flabebe, he will trade for Snom. The other ones are at Levincia, wanted pincurchin, she will trade with Haunter that evolve into a Gengar.

Salvatore, the languages teacher, gives you Galarian Meowth after you pass the languages finals and help him take care of an injured Pawmi that found its way to the academy.
