Yeah like I get it in the late 00s and then 10s with the show. But now I just don’t understand. They are so dull and boring. They get invited to talk shows and I get secondhand embarassment, they talk about stupid **** that’s truly uninteresting. Oh my sister went there oh my kid loves to cook my husband loves xyz. Who cares? Then people clap. They get invited to prestigious events like MET. Get on magazine covers and get imititated by women and I’m sorry but Kardashians are not beautiful women . They don’t have beautiful facial features, Kylie especially is seen as this Goddess or Kim but they are just not IT. I’m not one to judge only the appearance but they offer just that. Fashion and body and face and people like them for it. I don’t understand the hype at all. On top of it you can tell they craft stories for their show and attention. For example recently Kim K out of nowhere got with Pete Davidson but before that she probably saw that Megan Fox got a lot of attention after dating MGK and same for Kourtney K and her rockstar fiancé. Now Kim K gets her new accessory Pete, white guy who looks a bit trashy to fit in the trend. Funny thing is it’s working she’s getting the attention, then you see staged paparazzi pictures. And no one seems to notice how fake it is. It’s so pathetic. The women is 40 and still finds the need to have attention from the media. Same for her mom Kris who is just so creepy and weird. Then you got Khloe who has no self respect and the rest are dull as ****. Kendall Jenner I cant even talk about her. Rich brat who doesn’t wanna work too much but then says she earned everything in her life. Yeah right you were born in Calabasas in a mansion, shut up. You didn’t earn anything. I was born in a tiny appartment with cockroaches and drug dealers living next door and I’m still tryna figure out in my 20s how I can create a business. You had mommy give you all her contacts so you can do modelling we even saw it in an episode. They’re all such narcissists who don’t even care about the world or people. Rich entitled brats. Look how they reacted with the Travis Scott tragedy. They make me wanna vomit

Omg, you’re so on point. It’s all so staged, and it’s continued for SO LONG. And then people praise them for playing the game? I don’t understand how the public hasn’t lost interest already. Even Paris Hilton had more talent going for her than those people.

I'm not into conspiracy but really giving people those role models os a great way to keep consumerism on the top of it's game. They are the prettiest pawns of capitalism, maintaining the illusion that glamour is everything. 

But young kids... fame for nothing seems to be the dream. We all crave for our 15 Minutes.... I think this is going to be endless.

Ive never cared about Paris because at least she was funny and u could tell she played a character which to me was a funny humoristic character. She was part of pop culture, her drama with Lindsay Lohan for example, her partying with Britney. Idk at least it was a bit interesting. Also she’s part of an american story, the Hiltons. I guess u could say the same with Kardashians and OJ but their need for attention is too much. On top of it their personality is so dull. So dull im gonna take a nap if u talk. And it has lasted too long. Should’ve ended in mid 10s.

The Kardashians popularity says more about our societal culture and media than about the Kardashians themselves. We have a whole generation now of people who grew up seeing these women, with no "real" talent, become famous for being on a reality show. This has created a toxic culture of social media where people are chasing for likes and attention constantly in a fake and unauthentic way. We all want to broadcast our boring talentless lives, just as the Kardashians have managed to do so in the same vain way. 

Also, I honestly feel major celebrity news sites (Daily Mail, TMZ, People, etc) keep the Kardashian machine running because it makes them money and on a slow news day, especially with covid and the lack of events, they are a safe and easy group to talk about. (very marketable and basic so the masses will eat it up). 

Oh, and Kanye West is very famous and his association with them has been the icing in the cake, in terms of marketing and shameless promotion.
