I’m Tired of the Kardashians

I’m just shocked that they are still talked about so much in 2022! I grew up watching KUTWK and spin-offs, enjoying some of them, but like can we move on already? It seems like every year there is another feud and they continue to be in the headlines. I know people compare Kim K to Paris Hilton, but one of the reasons Paris has some goodwill towards her from gays today is because she didn’t overstay her welcome.

Paris dominated headlines in the 2000s, and then focused on other projects and took a backseat for most of the 2010s. Only recently has Paris had somewhat of a resurgence. With the Kardashians the whole family is constantly reported on. When will this end?

This take is kinda boomer’d tbh. They know how to get headlines and that’s how they started their careers, just ignore them.

Sorry. Hearing about them just isn’t fun anymore. Gossip bloggers and Twitter need to find some new people because it’s getting tiring.

I 1000000000% agree sis. Their negative impact on women's beauty standards has gone way too far, not to mention how much they profit off of black culture. It wouldn't be so bad if they were actually talented.

Literally! I can’t believe people feel the need to defend them. ☠️

The fact that women of all ages now feel pressured to have the bigger lips, crazy high cheekbones, big ass, flat stomach, darker skin, long hair, etc. But it's just so unrealistic and unattainable for people who aren't millionaires. It's the beauty trend of now, just like blonde hair and big boobs were Pam Anderson's gig.

i get that they apply indirect pressure but wouldn’t it be on the individual person not to succumb to those pressures? and also like not to b pro plastic surgery but if someone wants to change something about themselves they have the right and the bodily autonomy to do it

Yeah, sure. But easier said than done. It's the same for men's beauty standards. And I think it's also unrealistic for majority of people to "not succumb to those pressures". Because society teaches us that if we don't look like that, we lack value. And makes us feel like sh*t.
