Eeeek, risky business. Do we actually know how mentally stable putin is? If he sees this a declaration of war and does have a few screws loose he may just press the button.

This is slightly misleading, they are not cutting Russia off entirely, it only applies to “select banks” but it’s still good and pretty major.

Still another stupid CoMpRoMise that shows that the EU is too weak and divided to take serious action against an aggressor like Russia.

In my opinion they don’t want to cut them off completely, since lots of European countries are dependent on Russia(natural gas for instance, oil)

But what do u expect them to do, attack them?

They're facing someone derailed that could start a war with nuclear weapons. If it were me, I wouldn't know what to do either. It's not an easy task.

It’s not that it’s weak or divided, it’s that Europe is unfortunately too dependant on Russia’s gas and oil. I don’t have the exact numbers (feel free to correct me) but like 60% of France’s, Germany’s, Spain’s etc. energy comes from Russia. They don’t want to kill their economy and it’s understandable.

The UK, on the other hand, almost doesn’t get any energy from Russia at all, which is why Boris Johnson can afford imposing the most severe sanctions.

Hopefully they won't want to attack the entire Europe after that :ohno:

I mean they can't even send tanks through Ukraine without running out of gas and getting lost :rip:

Whimsical bitch
