IT's been heavy,.,,, it really depends where she is with her head. And she wasnt probably really in the mood to write music. Or maybe about friends, like 'Youve got a Friend'.. I really long for an acoustic or piano ballad album from Gaga.. just a calm, serenading album. Sure these are the exceptions, but both of your arguments are kind of proven wrong. She's still singing empowering anthems. She obviously isn't going to make each and every song about uplifting, light and breezy type themes, because sure you have those moments in life, but you also have bad ones too. She sings about both.
