The German invasion of Poland in 1939 (day 8)

The Russian invasion of Ukraine (8/9 day)

The Germans takeover was comparatively more rapid, with less advanced technology. Those areas in Western Poland also had bigger population density than the south of Ukraine.

Putin is asking to stop the sanctions claiming Russia doesn't have ill intentions

Ukrainians keep attacking peaceful foreign tanks that just so happen to show up next to their homes. :sharon:The population rebels against the peacekeeping bombs that Putin sends over their head. :sharon::sharon: It's just a misunderstanding. :sharon::sharon::sharon:

Lol, seems like the sanctions are effecting Russia HARD. And good so, the more people they effect the more the pressure around him grows.

For fun, here are some ''sanctions'' from different companies:

Spoiler

****hub: No longer available.

Danone: Sales ban.

Disney: No longer available.

DropBox: Application to be deleted from market.

Eurovision: Banned.

Olympics: Banned.

Ericsson: Exists from the market.

Exxon Mobil: Pulling the experts out.

Etsy: Blocking all the Russian's balances.

Linkedln: Proceeding to exist from the market.

Mastercard: Card production off stream or completely discontinued.

Maers Banks: Shipment stopped (goodbye AliExpress + ASOS).

Mercedes: Exists from the market.

Megogo: Deleting all the Russian films from the service.

Mitsubishi: 141 employees to exit Russia.

Microsoft Office: Negotiations about leaving the market going on.

NHL: Team banned.

Netflix: Didn't agree to stream Russian propaganda.

Nike: Factory to be closed.

The Romanian and Moldavian Minister of Foreign Affairs will be formulating their stance on this, but principially they said that Romania respects Moldova's territorial integrity within her internationally recognized borders. https://infoprut.ro/87396-ministrul-de-externe-al-romaniei-pozitie-ferma-dupa-ce-regimul-separatist-de-la-tiraspol-a-cerut-recunoastere-internationala.html It may be a chance that Moldova will let Transnistria break away, as is known this land is already part of Putin's plan, and maybe the Russians will let Moldova join Romania, or at least EU.

It perhaps also needs to be noted that Putin's first step to invading Ukraine was recognizing the independence of the so-called Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
