Putin had to have some idea that free world would react to an invasion like this with rebukes, sanctions, and protests. What is he willing to sacrifice to follow through these actions and what it means for world relations whether the invasion is successful or not?

Also, what are Russian allies willing to do to support Russia like the rest of the world is supporting Ukraine?

Even if Russia stops today, the world economy and progress in globalism will take a hit and while still dealing with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

That's the problem. Many protest which is good but then no one defends when they get arrested. You are outnumbering the police, all together without arms you can have the power back

Big men, hauling that granny off to jail

I've seen videos where people have pulled each other out of the police's arms. I feel like this lady would have been hurt if this went any different and she's clearly willing to go to jail for saying what needs to be said. Bless her

Why did you yaass react the post about children being detained by russian soldiers?

I thought it’s good that some Russian media is reporting on the terrible things their police force is doing to innocent protestors. Russian media is state controlled and most of them are in favor of this invasion. Did I misunderstand something?

A recent Russian governmental poll showed that around 65% of the people surveyed agreed with the invasion. Even though the number is very likely inflated, it seems like the Russian public opinion may be 50/50 on this. The propaganda machine in Russia is sadly powerful and that is something that shouldn't be downplayed.
