ABBA's Björn and wife Lena split after 41 years of marriage

Björn Ulvaeus and wife Lena Kallersjö have split. 

The ABBA star, 76, and his wife, 73, confirmed on Wednesday that they have decided to end their relationship after 41 years of marriage.

However, the pair - who share two children - have vowed to 'remain close friends' and continue enjoying family holidays together in the wake of their separation.

The idea that you should be with someone you don't love and just stay there and wait to die is certainly..  an idea.

The idea of having children and breaking up in your 70s is also an idea. Neither one of us know the full details, I was simply stating that I find it sad they couldn’t work it out.

He's getting divorced from Lena, a woman he married for over 40 years. He was actually married to Agnetha, one of the girls from ABBA but they divorced in 1980 before the band split up.
