Wow those are the exact 4 albums I listen to from madonnaaa. The rest I can appreciate (before them) and the ones after it I have no interest in. I agree all 4 of them are absolutely stellar with ROL taking the cake as the goat

What about Confessions gOrl?

I also recommend her compilations "Immaculate Collection" and "GHV2"

This not being on ROL really breaks my heart. If you ROL stans have never heard this song, please listen to it. It literally sounds like it could've easily fit right before Frozen.

"Has to be" is also a hidden gem! It's a shame she couldn't add this because it would ruin the 13 tracks numerology

This song is on another level.

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurkin' in the dark. ○●

I love this album so much, my favorite Madonna record. I know Power of Goodbye, Ray of Light and Frozen are the Holy Trinity of this album but casual fans also need to appreciate these great songs:

Such a masterpiece. The whole album is a vibe. So many classics on it. Truly one of the best albums of all time. But it’s really saying something about Madonna that as acclaimed and successful as this album was, it’s not even a slam dunk in terms of being her best album IMO. Like A Prayer showed amazing range and growth after she had just come off her break through commercial era and deserved to be AOTY with I think her best songs ever including LAP, Express Yourself,  and Cherish.  Arguments could also be made for her masterpiece Confessiosn on a Dance Floor, much later in her career. Even True Blue deserves a shot as a perfect piece of pure pop. No one else has such a deep discography of timeless classics.

Listening now before bed and it's still such a magical, perfectly produced album. Can't believe it came out 24 years ago, I first hear it in 2001 when she did the HBO Drowned World Tour special. I was 12 :flower:

I always thought she did a good job covering Don McLean’s song.
