Don't be fooled. This was probably to ensure that parents have a say in what schools teach/don't teach their children. Whether it's about gender identity, sexual orientation, racism, science (vs creationism), etc. It's never about the well-being of children. These are large states...millions of people are affected by the prejudiced decisions of a few...its completely unfair and bills that impact my life should be voted on by the PEOPLE that will have to live with it...

I'm glad I live in California but it also has its dumb extremes as well that make zero sense but overall...our country is so divided and we need to bring all groups of people together...

These are the types of parents who do not listen to their kids. I honestly feel so bad for kids who’s parents want them to be carbon copies of them.
 

Trans kids know who they are from early on. I hope these kids know they are not alone. I hope they live the rest of their lives happily as their TRUE selves and that one day their parents regret suppressing them for their adolescence.
