Raveena (Artist Thread)

hey y'all, so I thought I'd share a somewhat relatively new artist who I want to shine a spotlight on: Raveena 

She's dropped two studio albums and has recently released a new LP entitled 'Asha's Awakening' which is a great body of work from start to finish. I personally find her sound to be a super fresh/unique take on pop/r&b music and thought I'd share with you gaga daily hoes!   

if you like: bjork, fka twigs, sade, solange, rina sawayama, kali uchis, caroline polachek, snoh aalegra etc then you might like this.

YES!! I've been listening to her all weekend, she's really great to turn on to relax or if you're trying to focus while doing a project (I've been painting some shirts to her, it's perfect). The meditation at the end of the album is a really cool way to share something new to her audience too. Loves it!

ah this makes me so happy! 

i honestly feel like more people should know more about her, she has such a cool sound. i'm obsessed with her new album, it makes feel so zen/chilled.
