Housing supply has been desperately needed in Canada for decades This investment would kill 2 birds with 1 stone by giving the $497 Billion fund income while simultaneously investing in something that not only creates jobs but also is useful and helps work towards the goal of solving Canadas housing crisis However spokesman also made it clear the decision will be made ultimately on whether or not it makes financial sense. Although added rental supply would be great for Canada as a secondary benefit the funds primary objective is to grow capital so it can pay those who are retired not solve Canadas social problems.
