Critics Choice/BAFTA same day conflict

if i’m not mistaken, BAFTA starts 4PM EST, and then Critics Choice starts 8PM EST

BAFTA is obviously more prestigious and important to attend to, if she wins both maybe she can just receive critics choice via satellite while she’s in UK, hoping she goes extra and prepares a different dress for it

Since she disn't attend BAFTA the last time, maybe she will try to be there this year? :oprah:

BAFTA might be better opportunity for her to show serious red carpet look as well. So, personally I hope she'll go to this one.

It's the other way around.  Critics Choice tried to snatch Golden Globes' date and then switched to March 13.

to be fair they’re really only watched in the UK and the conflict last time was with the grammys, which is really only a problem for gaga and gaga only tee hee  :firega:

besides bradley, no other actors would’ve been needed at the grammys that year

Why do award shows do this :smh:

Probably just too crowded. Films Awards season spans from November to February traditionally. Where the cinemas usually on the cool off phase during the Winter holiday, and not releasing too many attention grabbing movies.

Comes March, the movie industries would usually started back up and releasing blockbusters, and filming movies again. So doing awards show after February is not a good idea, cos people who work in the industry may not able to attend obviously.
