Chic 20,830
The Future Nostalgia Tour starts tonight in Miami. I’m going to the date in Boston in 9 days and I’m wondering: Will watching videos of the concert spoil my experience? Should I wait it out, avoid the videos and see it when it’s all fresh? Or will watching only build the hype? What do you do in these situations?

Gatlyn 1,330
Don’t watch the videos, better to surprised by the setlist and order
thatfoxyfeeling 13,017
Honestly don't ruin the experience by already knowing what to expect, be in the moment and enjoy the atmosphere.
MadreMonster 2,584
I like to know what’s coming. Just helps me be more present than always wondering “is this the last song?” I would maybe go to a Gaga concert without knowing the set list since I know her music so well, but other artists have deeper cuts I don’t listen to so I like to listen to those before the concert so I can enjoy hearing them more. Glamourpuss 29,062
Yes. I usually always get GA tickets and I find it's best to study the best places to stand so you know you're getting the best view throughout the show. That's the only time I watch videos of the show. It's so much better to be surprised.
Anderson123 38,491
Your date is so soon, I think you should avoid details so it's all a surprise.
Chic 20,830
You guys convinced me, I’m gonna avoid videos of it! I’ll just binge watch a bunch of her past performances I’ve got a seated ticket too so scouting a good area to see is all sorted out!

Balue 421
I watch those videos on youtube! Lol That way I can be ready for the whole setlist & it doesn't ruin anything, as being there in real life is a whole other experience!!❤
Andreu 37,216
This topic reminded me how I actively avoided ARTRave Spoilers for months, just for the guy in front of me in the queue to start reading the setlist from the show out loud OT:If your date was in 5 months I would get the hesitation but since its just in a few days I'd say the best is to let the show surprise you
Guest
I guess it depends on the venue and stage design. For the artRave I was glad that I knew which songs were going to be performed at which part of the stage, so that I could position myself accordingly. Also, most artists actually switch it up every now and then, so you might still get surprised!
