Well, that would require her concerts to actually be filmed. And we've seen how that turned out with the last three tours. :huntyga:

I have high hope for the TV special concert with benett. 😁

Why is everyone so eager for her to become an EGOT? Like she’s not even 20 years into her career but y’all act like she’s running out of time or something.

Sometimes I get the feeling people like this don’t really even care about the recognition or the award, they just want the bragging rights that come with a prestigious win. Gaga’s not some underdog who needs to prove herself lol. If she never won another award in her life, she’d still have far more than a lot of other stars.

Because she seems equally talented and successful in both singing, songwriting/composing and acting, and that is pretty rare.

We know how enthusiastic, determined and successful she is in everything she does. And one of the main measures of success is awards. She probably won’t be an EGOT because she set that goal, but because she always wants to try herself and be successful in a new field.

This is a stan mentality. All awards indicate some kind of success, but not all success should or will produce an award.

I find it hard to believe it’s not a specific goal of hers. She seems as hungry for it as the fans. Either way, my point is that there’s no reason to act like she needs to meet some arbitrary deadline. It took Helen Hayes 45 years to become an EGOT. At the very least it takes around 10 years to get all 4. Gaga just finished her second leading role within 4 years. Don’t be too presumptuous.

I was talking about Gaga, not about her fans. She likes awards because they indicate her success. :vegas:

I think a Tony is a lot more in her reach than we think. Musicals are generally camp. Gaga is camp. Considering she wrote a considerable amount of the ASIB score, it’s definitely in her wheelhouse to create a such a cohesive body of work with a solid storyline. Plus with her visuals? It’s just a matter of taking the time to execute it the right way.

Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.
