But if we go by the guild crossover & other precursor awards, I'm guessing Gaga/Kidman/Hudson/Colman...with the last slot up in the air between Kristen and Cruz. I keep seeing Alana predicted, but she missed SAG (like Kristen) and AACTA (which Kristen has). And there's an argument she was a jury pick at BAFTA...on the other hand, Licorice Pizza (ugh) seems like the type of film voters might eat up (issues and all). I’m shaky on that but I think it could happen. If Crus and Chastain both miss then snob film Twitter is gonna have a REALLY bad day because those are the two they’ve seemed to rally behind to combat the boosts Nicole and Gaga have had recently. TBF, all of them had critical acclaim for their acting...but worse I just mean "less" critical acclaim. Not to mention it's the voters and not the actresses who determine the nominees.... All of your lists sound possible, too. The only real locks imo are Kidman and Gaga at this point...I think even Colman, as strange as it sounds, is more vulnerable (I thought she was a lock before BAFTA) than Gaga and Nic. Alana will be nominated just because it's rare for a film to be voted for Best Film category and not for the acting categories. Alana e Bradley will benefit from that. Pundits are really unhinged this season. If either of Colman or Kristen is hitting all 4 precursors like Gaga, they will already call the race over, and "the trophy is in the bag". But somehow Gaga is the one achieving this, and now they're tirelessly making cases of how Gaga will miss. I've seen people said because Gaga made GG, CC, SAG, and the film did well on Bafta, Ampas voters on Jan.27-Feb.1 would all think she's safe and thus use their votes to save other actors they think are at risk. And that will cause Gaga to get no votes thus not nominated. I also saw someone saying both SAG and Bafta voting is from early December to early January, so Gaga's NYFCC win and GG+CC nominations helped her get all the votes during that time. But in late January the passion for her rose dive. The actors are furious of Kristen's SAG snub and Cruz's Bafta snub so they decided to save them and drop Gaga.
