You have clouded your objectivity by thinking you're being objective.

Even if it wasn't Oscar-worthy, it was still worthy of an Oscar nomination. It was a better performance than her very own Ally Maine in A Star Is Born.

get well soon

without sounding arrogant i kinda knew she wouldn’t get nominated for an oscar. gaga was great, but the movie didn’t have many moments for her to deliver an oscar winning performance - and in general, the movie was ****. again, gaga delivered fantastically but **** movies with bad critic reviews don’t win academy awards.

i really hope gaga is doing okay though, it’s not her fault the script, director and cast were kinda lackluster. she poured her heart and soul into the press tour.

i don’t speak german but i wish i could.

guys the only reason why she wasn't nominated is because the film itself just wasn't that good which  unfortunately put her at a higher risk. being in a ridley scott film was always going to be a hit or miss.

this is also a blessing in disguise tbh...it just means her next film project Gaga has to choose the script/director wisely; someone who will enhance her performance even more instead of gaga herself being the sole saving grace of a film like she was for gucci.

i'm telling you all now that she'll probably get nominated/win for her next dramatic lead role in a film.

you can serve it to me ancient city style...

Now, more than ever, I just hope for two things:

- She wins the BAFTA for Best Actress and she attends

- Oscar's audience rating is the lowest ever

But I thought that her performance was the most acclaimed one!!!! And the box office was the best for a drama!!!! And she straight up gave the best performance!!!! And her SAG, BAFTA, GG and CC nominations were proof that she's just the best!!!!

Oh, no, sorry, that's what you all though.

It is a little odd, in a year where their industry is imploding within itself and no award films are coming close to breaking even at the box office (which is sad enough) the Academy wouldn’t find it worthy of nominating the one film that did and the only reason it did - Lady Gaga.

I’m not saying she would ever win, but it’s a very odd message when they’re so desperate for viewership.

I’m already seeing Gaga fans calling these nominations ‘rigged’ / are trashing Kristen Stewart over this.. :fail: It’s so cringe.
