It's complex but Russia is very very clearly the aggressor. They are trying to take over a country just because they want it. That's not a good thing. He's not scared of the EU for that reason too 'cause without direct US military support, they're not going to fight Russia. He's going to get away with this with little more than some harsh words and a slap on the Russian economy's wrist. I just hope Ukrainian citizens keep themselves safe and evacuate asap. The whole world stands against Russia on this issue, except China who really just suggest this issue should be handled diplomatically. Since there has been so much awareness of this issue, my opinion is Russia will have to delay any action and could possibly face sanctions from USA or any western Country.
