Good riddance! We do not need any symbols of colonization to be in power in the present, we should be trying to dismantle from this and the English monarchy has had their hands stained red for centuries . This is just carrying on a legacy of genocide and slavery, even if some white people claim the monarchy is part of thier heritage. Camilla becoming Queen will definitely crumble the English monarchy, combined with the dramas around Prince Harry/Prince Andrew, etc.

Philip was not King consort. He was just a consort. Not even (officially) Prince Consort. The thinking is there is nothing higher than a “King” thus consorts’ titles being prerogatives.

What's there not to get? The tweet was announcing that Camilla will be called Queen, and all the comments beneath it are saying that Diana should have been queen, would have been a better queen etc. I love Diana as much as everyone else, but do people need to bring her up every time Camilla does anything?
