I’m sorry but people who think any of these kinds of actions are gonna save the world :ladyhaha:

I think they don't want to indirectly give a racist a platform by paying for the service 🤔 do you think it's cute to come in this thread and try to scrutinize people who don't like racists?

Saying the n word...out of context...

What context makes it OK?

:bear:

I have a hard enough time at work hearing my white director LOUDLY listening to music saying the n-word every 2 seconds...its cringe af so idk when white people will learn

Give him a break guys, it was so long ago and he was only...*checks notes*...43 years old. He has grown up a lot since then.

Ask yourself this, what would you have done if you were in his shoes?

I think that's the disconnect you're having here. None of us would do that in the first place :bear:

I feel like a direct quote, probably of an opposing politician, is a bit less malicious than some of the stuff Rogan said.

Still not an excuse, for sure, but it's more of a sign of Biden's tone-deafness and insensitivity than of actual racism on his part (there are questionable policy decisions you can bring up for that though) where as Rogan was calling black people apes and using the n-word more than I use ketchup...and I like ketchup a lot :messga:

What happened to this dude? Years ago I only knew him as some MMA commentator or something when my friend and I used to do that stuff. You blink, the years pass, and now he's some borderline Proud Boy MAGA freak? Wtf? :rip:

But there will always be people that say the wrong thing, whether intentional or not. Should we silence them forever, even if after they have acknowledged and apologized for there mistakes?

We shouldn’t silence people forever after a mistake or negative POV they had in the past. How can we ever draw the line then and move ahead?

Joe Rogan is definitely not a Trump-level-right-wing racist, and these people do deserve to be cancelled.

I'm not sure he left it in the past himself though. He seems like the same sh*t guy as the one in those videos :laughga:

Actions speak louder than words. Idc about his apology or his promise to do better, I care about him actually doing better.
