And the tag is required so there was no way to post without picking it. It works this time I guess because Scream is a series, but if I had wanted to post something about a stand-alone movie, the only tag option would still be “series”. Anderson123 35,605 Posted February 3, 2022 Share Posted February 3, 2022 I think the fifth one could've been a nice ending to the franchise but gotta give it to the directors for doing a great job and leaving it open for a future movie. I'm honestly excited to see what they do with characters like Mindy, Chad, Tara, etc. and the way they let us know Kirby survived got my hyped. I KIND OF have the feeling they'd want to switch it up with the formula this time and it's gonna be interesting to see if there's two more sequels to make this a trilogy. I honestly wouldn't mind if Sidney and Gale don't make an apperance on this next one and they develop the new cast's stories, then have them come back with the final one. I was praying for 5 to do well to have that trilogy happen and sure enough the fans pulled through! I’m so happy to see where these new characters take us! I don’t expect Sid or Gale to make an appearance, especially with the clever way that they passed the torch in the last one. Kinda hope the original characters are not in this one tho, the movie felt like a nice send off and passing the torch to the new cast. Besides, Scream is a more "grounded" story, so how much longer can they milk the past of those characters and make it work. My only wish is we get to see Spoiler I was part of the Kirby-is-alive trope for years and now its canon, and apparently Hayden was down for a comeback, so hopefully it happens!
