Ronk 14,486
Feb. 2 is Groundhog Day. Consider watching the great comedy movie about the day. One of my favorite movies. I watch it every Feb. 2. Here is a trailer: I live outside the space time continuum.
Bling 31,039
Omg I loved this movie growing up Even though I low key despise Andie MacDowell https://discord.gg/hausofdelulu
Ronk 14,486
I grew up 1.5 hours from Punxsutawney and can vouch for the accuracy of several things in the movie. The drive from Pittsburgh to Punxsutawney at the start of the movie is real. The look of the town and the ceremony on groundhog day is how it actually is. The movie is so well done and is so much fun. I live outside the space time continuum.

Then again, I'm not totally sure it originated with Groundhog Day. But, nowadays, it's almost like a genre, and G.D. is always the reference point. (Recent examples: Palm Springs, Happy Death Day...) Nemo 4,205
I'd also count this movie as one of my favorites, and I've seen it over and over, as is only fitting.

There's a 2021 movie called Christmas Again based on that theme. I haven't seen it yet. I live outside the space time continuum.

You got me thinking about an old Twilight Zone episode from 1959: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judgment_Night_(The_Twilight_Zone) This list contains 5 movies before Groundhog Day and many afterward. https://www.imdb.com/list/ls069145438/ I live outside the space time continuum.
