Go to the jazz show.  People say it's great.  Opportunities don't come around often.

I would but these dates don't work for me :bradley:

Sorry about that.  You may get another chance.  And my post was easy for me to say because it's not my money and time.   And I won't travel to Vegas from NY state, and I'm still isolating from covid and not going to any concerts.  I'm one person who shouldn't advise.

Can anyone tell me how much tickets usually are when they first go on sale, as opposed to resale prices?

I got tickets right away for her first round of jazz shows I was in the first raised section close to the stage, and my tickets came to $415 each. That was way in advance. Closer to the time the shows were actually happening, seats in my area were selling for $1000+ as regular price, not resale. So I felt really good about it, the prices def went up. BUT, I feel ticketing has changed since those days. Now I have seen companies use “dynamic pricing” to charge extra high prices when the tickets first go on sale and all the fans are on the site at the same time, and then later then ticket prices settle down. So it’s hard to say what will happen this time.

I think is makes sense she’s doing more jazz shows now as her last album release was a jazz album, and she’s currently campaigning to win some of the many Grammy nominations she’s up for for jazz. This will be a great way to remind Grammy voters how spectacular she is as a jazz singer.

The Grammys take place 2 weeks before the first show so zero campaign here.

This shouldn't be legal fvck, it's so frustrating !!! I hope prices won't exceed 500$ for those first raised section tickets...

what's so bad about Enigma?

I think she has evolved past Enigma (creatively)...  it was very much the aesthetic of a different era and I hope her next pop show is a completely different vibe, setlist, and look

Same. We'll already be heading to Seattle in July for a cruise, so it would be ideal if she added some late summer dates. I can't quite justify flying to Vegas for one weekend in April :messga:

I went for just the weekend in October and it was well worth it, but I’m hoping to go back for Enigma.

If I were to travel to Vegas after the pandemic it would be to see Gaga's jazz show.  I would combine with shows of other of my faves.  This amazing list was made January 15, before Gaga announced her new shows:

Is $415 a normal price for a concert ticket in the US? In Europe I would never pay more than €200.

The dust that Chromatica Ball is getting paid is disrespectful, just cancel it now for good if you don't wanna do it, people deserve clarity on this

In a place like Vegas, yes. In general? Not usual. My tickets for Dua in two weeks are $180 for both my husband and I. When I saw Cher a few years ago, it was about $200 total. Now the most expensive show I've ever seen was the Madame X Tour. Our tickets were about $420 each :deadbanana:

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

It’s increasingly normal but it totally depends on the venue, the artist, etc. For example the general price for a floor seat at Katy is $500, but the resale prices are much higher. The tickets are cheaper the further from the stage too.
