The iconic Metal Dress outfits in the Paparazzi video and the Black/White suit she wore in Telephone for example were by him by the way, so he did indeed create looks for iconic moments in Gaga’s career. In 2011 she almost exclusively wore current Mugler when Formichetti was the artistic director while also being her stylist. But Thierry Mugler definitely brought gigantic spectacles, unbelievable glam and larger than life escapism into the pop sphere and fashion world like never before, so he definitely had a huge impact on popstars, especially Gaga and many modern designers that are responsible for the stage outfits we see on pop stars and drag queens especially today.
