Joaco95 1,631
Legendary French fashion designer Manfred (Thierry Mugler) died on Sunday at the age 73. Mugler, a dominant force in the fashion industry in the 1980s, died of “natural causes,” his agent Jean-Baptiste Rougeot told AFP in a statement. The death was announced in a social media post sent from Mugler’s official Instagram account. “We are devastated to announce the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler on Sunday January 23rd 2022. May his soul Rest In Peace,” the post read. Mugler was born in Strasbourg in December 1948. At the age of 20, he settled in Paris and in 1973 launched his label “Cafe de Paris” a year before founding “Thierry Mugler.” The designer created high-end, extravagant looks that have been favored by a long list of celebrities. https://nypost.com/2022/01/23/iconic-fashion-designer-thierry-mugler-dead-at-73/ omg nooo he was my all time designer, from his collections, to his fragances and photography work, he was such a genius rip

Joaco95 1,631
Ugh he will be my fave designer FOREVER The first time I saw his work was in the Too Funky video but what really got me hooker was his work for Beyoncé's I Am... Tour. The fact that he came out of retirement just to work with her (71 pieces for her, her dancers and band, included THAT iconic golden costume for CIL) and even helped as creative advisor/director. Just last year I finally decided to buy Angel and Alien (the last one being now my daily fragance) and damn I really need to buy his photobooks (he was such a nice photographer). What a genius. May he rest in peace.

BornAsUnic0rn 2,249
Thierry Mugler changed the fashion world and especially pop culture forever. He was a visionary for spectacle, and the Mugler woman always came across as strong, independent and in control. He will always be my biggest inspiration regarding fashion, he is the blueprint. Rest in Power.

No she didn't, she wore MUGLER under Nicola. She wore Thierry Mugler in Paparazzi and I think Telephone. She mentioned during the BTW era that she did wear Mugler fragrance which he was in control of at that time.

Yeah nah I know that actually, just found it funny, she wore archive and vintage mugler in almost every era, several times, except BTW. No candid wearing a jacket, nothing, so the comment I responded to clearly got something confused.
