How is it politically charged when she literally sounds like a conservative herself? Have you not read her interviews about taxes lmao

one single semi-joking comment about her tax 10 years ago doesn't represent her view, she is a labout girl through and through.

Well now it’s because she was using non-union workers vs Gaga only going the union route.

aka show didn’t happen and now these workers didn’t get paid due to no protections bc team Adele wanted to be cheap.

I copied this from someone who can better explain it:

So, entertainment in Vegas is HEAVILY unionized. From the musicians down to the cocktail servers, there's a lot of unions there. And unions basically only work if they're somewhat universal. In general, you'll have a much harder time finding a venue for your show if you don't agree to hire union workers/musicians/etc to run it. However, Nevada is a "right to work" state, where this is not legally required --- you CAN hire non-union people to work in the same places as union workers, but good luck finding good ones in sufficient quantity because every staffing agency in the area is going to use union workers.

Adele seems to have not used any Vegas-area agencies and instead used some Canadian agency specifically in order to find non-union musicians for her Vegas show. This, likely, is due in part to the fact that non-union musicians have weaker legal protections should something happen to prevent the show from happening. If your show gets cancelled and you are a union musician, the people running the show had to sign something agreeing to give you XYZ (for example, some percentage of your pay prorated for the remaining dates of the show). If you're a non-union musician, you had no bargaining power going in, so you likely get jack **** if your show gets cancelled. This also extends to things like sickness and the expected protections at the venue and all of that stuff.

In other words, Adele's people seem to have gone out of their way to find non-union musicians in Vegas. Motivation is unclear, but it was likely just because they were cheaper, and they are cheaper because they don't have... like... any rights or protections.

Joining a union labor group for your trade (construction, teaching, etc) you pay dues to be in a group so if something happens you have representation to protect you (hurt yourself on the job due to no fault of your your own) also things like paid sick days and health insurance. Non-union could be more like you are a freelance worker- you can set your own hours and billing but have no protections

"Caesars Palace, attempted to make the “perfectionist” perform “Skyfall” with a 60-member choir, when she was looking to keep the performance “low-key” and “all about the voice.”

This alone is outrageous. You DONT decide for Adele how she wants to sing her songs.

Oh wow, this is so tricky! Adele doesn't strike me as the type of person that would do this.

It is definetely her team the one trying to be cheap but of course Adele (the name, brand and the person) will be the one getting dragged, so unfair.
