World tennis number one Novak Djokovic is fighting deportation from Australia days before the start of the Australian Open which he hopes to compete in later this month. He is currently being held in an immigration detention centre in Australia after arriving in the country without proof of vaccination.

The 34-year-old Serbian, an outspoken critic of mass vaccination, said in his court application he had a valid visa and medical exemption from the organiser of the tournament because he tested positive for coronavirus on 16 December last year. 
However, a press release from the Tennis Association of Serbia appears to show Djokovic meeting with young tennis players the next day.

Its very annoying to see how people are fast at typing disrespectful comments without enough information. You see some media wrote something and you catch on that because its your right to opinion (on everything). Before writing disgusting comments about someone you should be absolutely sure about facts on certain topic.

Djokovic is not anti-vaxxer, he never said it, he has the right to have opinion but of course lets drag that man down, everyone is doing it. Time will tell what is the truth here. Instead of typing this ****, you all (on this site) should be aware of the position this man currently is, he is the voice of freedom right now and Spanish people recognized it after Nadal comments, how long will it take for others to do the same?  

I will never understand why he is not as popular as Nadal or Federer. Maybe answer hides behind the fact that he comes from the small and poor country and there is no mass lobby for him as the other two. He deserves much more recognition for what he achieved. He is much better person than them, his legacy is on par with these two and will probably be the greatest ever tennis player but of course  West World wont recognize it, never will.

you don't have to say the words 'i am anti-vaxx' to express anti-vaxx opinions and enact anti-vax behaviors. call a kettle a kettle etc. "the voice of reason"... please...

its HARD to piece together who is in the wrong with the whole visa drama because it sounds like there were strange things going on by both novax djokovic and also the various australian governments. im not passing judgment on that at this point in time but novak is not portraying himself as someone you'd want in your country

he's not as popular because his public persona is an arrogant a-hole. he has the talent to back it up and he wears it well. i generally like him.

"arrogant a-hole"? hahahahhaah djokovicc arrogant? djokovic? I dont know why someone would said that for him but he is the opposite of it. But thats your right to think that about him. 

As for anti-vaxx comments, do some research please before putting a mark on someones forehead. Be judgemental sometimes on systems and people that make decisions for those systems. We live in a very manipulated world.
