Be honest, how many of the songs can you remember :triggered:

What’s it got to do with you if somebody is enjoying something?

i miss loud big ass choruses that mainstream pop artists used to have in their songs!

let's hope that Bebe will bring them back

I was just making a point that most of these songs aren’t memorable sis, even the person that enjoyed this album admitted that it isn’t memorable :billie:

lol I don’t get the negative reactions whatsoever. For me, this is his best album. I guess people have different tastes.

Have you heard his other albums :laughga:

Okay after a few listens i really like it, very vibey and synth-esque, which i live for, but definitely does not top after hours but still a great follow up, wish we have a short film or something so we can take a better look on the purgatory theme

... and now i just sit in silence.

Out of Time sounded like it was channeling production elements from MJ's "Lady in my life", maybe moreso channelling Quincy Jones production style from 1981/1982.

The instrumental is a straight sample of this 80s Japanese song:

? It’s been out for a day how could you possible gauge if it’s memorable or not?

Music is subjective let people enjoy what they enjoy and leave them do it. Literally mind your business

After letting the album marinate… it definitely ranks somewhere in the middle of his work.

Disclaimer: I love almost everything he’s put out so being mid or low ranking isn’t necessarily bad.

After Hours is my favorite studio album of his for sure.

EPs are different and I rank them differently since they’re not similar to his studio albums and more experimental imo.

Girl they can enjoy it all they want, again I was just making a point by asking someone who likes the album if they remembered most of the songs. There’s really no need to get this butthurt over it.

I’m not butthurt. It’s just a boring attitude. You’ve spent many posts not just dunking on the album but challenging people for … simply enjoying it. Not everyone is gonna like it - they don’t have to. But why waste your time trying to convince people the shouldn’t or that it’s inferior? It gives loser energy. Pack it up and move on

I just gave it my first listen and I really liked it. One of my favorite parts of this was Jim Carrey. Such a random collaboration but I grew up watching a lot of his films too so taking his voice as the radio station guy was pretty cool which I suppose was the whole intention of the concept of it.

So far I can't tell a lot of the songs apart because they have a similar sound, something that happened with Ariana's Positions but I'm sure as time passes I'll have my favorites. Yes it follows Blinding Lights and Save Your Tears but it's pretty much a continuation of After Hours and who am I kidding, I love that sound.

Dude, this is not what I said. I said I only listened to it once. I LOVE this album and you're not gonna make a point out of me. The songs are gonna stand out the more I listen to it. My point is, as a whole, this album is gold. Actually, After Hours is the album I go to for a few songs only.

Girl they’re literally the one and only person I “challenged for liking it”, which again wasn’t a challenge, just a question. And I literally dropped it after they answered. If I had kept going after that, I could understand your annoyance. But I literally just asked one question and you’re acting like I’m holding everyone that likes this album at gunpoint. Calm down sweetie :huntyga:

What you said is that you don’t care if the songs are memorable :trollga:

See? Still pushing. Literally let them enjoy it. Is your arrogance not tiring to you?
