Whether it’s via surrogacy or adoption, I’ve really changed my attitude towards having kids, whereas before I never desired them. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could bring new kids into this world. With climate change, automation, rising income and wealth inequality, decreasing economic opportunity, political and social instability, moral decay, an eroding and corrupt culture, and a fraying social fabric makes this world increasingly frightening to live in. The progression of technology and the imperialization of it in everyday life has truly altered our lives for the worse, not better. We have become addicted to our gadgets (as have I) and the psychological well-being of our youth is deteriorating in huge part because of it. This is what happens when technology evolves faster than we have as a species!! I wouldn’t want my kids to end up like the teens of today. Our future is so bleak.
