PunkTheFunk 123,508
It is the highest ranked movie that is not superhero/action, animated, or part of a franchise. That's pretty amazing.

What makes you think women and gay people are less interested in superhero movies? Isn't it the genre that explains the phenomenon rather than gender? Isn't it the genre that explains the phenomenon rather than gender? Young men have been driving the box office this year. Of course women and gays enjoy superhero movies and action films, but straight men drive the majority of box office interest, sometimes making up almost 70% of ticket sales. Because we are less interested, hunTY Because once you've seen one superhero movie, you've pretty much seen them all (maybe not all of us) https://discord.gg/hausofdelulu
Chromatican 4,046
It’s sad how half of these movies are Superhero movies and only one is an original non-IP film, non-sequel. People just do not come out for anything off the beaten path anymore. I really blame Disney for over-saturating the box office with IP slop.
