The fact of the matter is that vaccinated and boosted we should be able to live in much less concern, but the statistics behind breakthrough cases and how often getting sick despite vaccination occurs are so overblown and unclear, it’s very unlikely to become seriously I’ll if you’re vaccinated. Every time the virus passes through a vaccinated person the viral load becomes smaller and smaller. Most people getting it now who are vaccinated haven’t gotten a booster or were vaccinated over 6 months ago in most cases. But instead, the narrative remains simply: “get the vaccine that’s already surrounded by misinformation and politics! I’ve done everything the past two years to not get COVID and I still don’t have it, but I feel defeated by my family I live with not being cautious at all. A lot of us will get omicron, even though we are vaccinated, and it will feel like a normal cold. Cases are skyrocketing across Europe as well.
