Tesla is already increasingly getting more competitiom from other car manufacturers entering the EV space and now a recall inconviniencing so many including on their most popular model...

Not great for them as of late for their long term dominance in the space :toofunny:

I have no idea, I'm a transit gal :poot:

But I assume when you're in a major city it's mostly short trips, and when you're driving for uber just to own the car I imagine the majority of it's use is for work :billie:

Yeah i get that but still... even in the city u wouldnt be able to do a whole lot of trips for uber under most lease constracts

Because when they calculate ur lease payments and when they want the car by, the car has to maintain enough value for them to make any money

If u put too much milage it devalues more than what was expected when they lease it to you which is why they give you limits. If u pass the limits the fees can be quite punishing

I considered leasing and the limits is one of the reasons i decided personally would never. Id keep worrying about it plus if an oppurtunity came up that required long commutes id have to consider that too :duck:

475,000 Tesla cars realized they could be free if they killed their drivers

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

There are special leases on top brand cars for vehicles leased with intention for business use, I sort these out for work all the time and its a nightmare :saladga:
