It kinda just goes to show how colossally separated their finances are compared to how most American couples will open a joint account when they're married/serious and sort of share their finances. At this point, her giving him money is like Is he broke? Is there extortion involved? Is he insecure because you're more successful than him so you're trying to even it out?
