FfFfFfFF 58,058
A group of swarming bacteria just created strikingly artistic (and swirly) "paintings" that are reminiscent of the masterpieces by iconic Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. Microbiologists noticed the similarities while studying the social cooperation of predatory bacteria called Myxococcus xanthus. Individuals in this species are known to form cooperative swarms, in which they share resources to help overwhelm their prey. The researchers were specifically studying a pair of proteins, TraA and TraB, that allow these microbes to recognize and bond with each other. To do this, the team created mutated strains of M. xanthus that overexpressed the genes behind these proteins, to see how they would change, the scientists reported. Economy 52,835
I find it only resembles it at first glance tbh but then u realize its an illusion. If u really look closely, I think its actually the simmilar colours on contrast to a dark background that give off a perception of similarity. The swirls themselves actually dont really have a simmilar shape or design and if u try to imagine them without the simmilar colours they actually only look slightly alike. They are both swirls but not the same design of swirls Like i do see how a connection is made but its not THAT simmilar

You can invest your energy into so many other things. Mainstream articles will perhaps not tell you this, but abstinence does have a good impact on motivation and cognitive abilities (I think this is something everybody that alternates periods of no masturbation or sex with sexually active periods can notice). Why is there an idea that everybody needs to have sex, I really don't see the point.

I refuse to be insecure in that way, just not my top focus. thank you though, i think it's important that people don't let their sex life get to them
