Well, Dr Luke is a HIT maker, people go to Dr Luke for a number 1 or a top 10 at the very least, he follows the same recipe and was taught by Max Martin. Saying that Doja's chart success is attributited to that isnt like Gaga and redone (who was an unknown producer) making smash hits organically out of nowhere, lets not confuse the two. RedOne wasn't an unknown producer. He had already been producing hits for artists for nearly a decade when he started working with Gaga. It's part of the reason he didn't want to work with her initially, he felt he was too big to be working with some newbie.

He got credited for songs he never worked on. Yes, he produced Say So, but a ton of other songs he got credited for, he didn't touch, like Kiss Me More. It's because he signed her when she was 16 years old and she owes him a certain percentage of royalties per their contract even if he didn't touch the songs. Please look at his discography hun.....He had worked with Kat Deluna for an album, lodes of unkown people before that, the bloody 'Cheetah Girls' and Akon for a couple, who i'm assuming is the one who introduced him to Gaga. His official discography says every song hes credited on since the 90's and literally it is no well known artists at all so I have no idea where you have got this info. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RedOne_production_discography

Doja has very little to prove when she practically engineered her entire rise herself because her label (and Luke) weren't paying attention to her. She found mainstream success last year. She is nowhere near an established artist and therefore still has to prove her longevity in the industry

His manager eventually convinced RedOne that Gaga was talented enough that it would be worth meeting her, so they met and hit it off instantly. moonsago 7,285
Doja is a superstar and I’m not even a huge fan. I listened to 3 songs but from what I’ve seen you don’t need to know much to see how amazing she is. She raps and sings, writes and above all, a dying art-form in the west SHE PERFORMS AND DANCES. Period. And she doesn’t just swing from side to side on the stage, the girl is SERVING choreo and serving it so well. She might not have the charts stats as some of the other girls that came out about the same time but to me, not as a comparison, she truly brings something to the table that few other artists in general do in today’s times. And her music sounds unique, I don’t know, at least from what I’ve heard. Do I have to mention the INSANE looks? She is STUNNING.

Basically they just phrased what he said very wrong.

Every producer has been 'around' before they work with anyone unless it is literally the first song they are ever doing, he had been present, worked with a very random selection of different artists with songs that never took off. Dr Luke had made like 10 number 1's at that point and had all the connections to boost any track / artist. The point I was making that you replied to, was Doja getting put in a room with Dr Luke to start her career can not be put on the same level as Gaga being put in a room with Redone to start her career. Guest
Speak on it We all know she’s going to get into trouble with Luke for speaking badly about him* so it’s amazing that she’s risking that to stand for what’s right by clarifying she doesn’t want anything to do with him. *Reminder: he didn’t allow Kesha to release any new music because she told the world what he did to her.
