bionic 50,111
Voting rights is a dead duck, unfortunately. I guess the Senate Dems would rather neither pass
HuffsAhoy 7,433
So they choose a vanity project over something that will help millions of families trying to recover from a pandemic? PartySick 172,478
I don't see why they can't do both? If they worked full 8+ hour shifts, 6 days a week like most Americans then they could talk about and vote on both bills. Why do we let our leaders be paid this well to be this lazy? Whimsical bitch
HuffsAhoy 7,433
Just now, PartySick said: I don't see why they can't do both? I'm sure the response to your query will be: "Something something 'gotta work with both sides'" "Blah blah, Biden can't undo every evil Trump did in 4 years" "Oh em gee guys, Biden brought down gas prices by $0.02!! Screw you h8ters" You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.
gothicdream 39,655
I'm sure they'll fail at passing voting rights too

Screw you h8ters" Well it's the senate that's the problem right now Biden's admin isn't doing great as far as pushing the required narratives imo but the issue with senate is that they have an average of 150-200 actual working days a year and most of those days are spent collecting for their next campaign. Do you know what I'd be if I only went to work 150-200 days in a year and then I didn't do what I was supposed to do when I was there? Unemployed and homeless And when they do come together for a "productive day of legislating" (), one or two senators can kill a bill backed by 48/49 other senators, the president, over 200 house members, and the majority of the American population. It's all f*cking broken. Whimsical bitch
Gagaloo911 12,959
In other words, they'll do nothing and not pass either. As useless as the Republicans they are. (And bought off to not do anything just like them).
