She didn't do anything there, she was simply invited to watch. I think Gaga fans tend to forget she attended the 2014 ceremony and always credit the 2015 The Sound of Music performance as her first involvement with the Oscars. I find it amazing how Gaga and her eventual co-stars would always find themselves in each other's company without knowing they would work together in a film in the future. In 2015 Bradley was filmed applauding her when he barely knew her. Can't believe they're such BFFs now. Who would've thought Who do you think Gaga would work with in the future? Gaga has been seen with Leonardo DiCaprio on several occasions (She really just hung out with Leonardo DiCaprio with a shirt that says "Lady Fcking Gaga") Gaga is going to sing for Tom Cruise's Top Gun, will they act together? The potato-quality image on the right is Mr Tom Cruise, yes. Olivia Colman might reunite with Gaga at the Oscars, do you think this time Gaga would win the Oscar and end her speech with "Olivia Colman!" *sends kiss* Maybe they would act together some time? In 2014 Gaga was the face of Versace. As a spokesperson they arranged for her to attend the Oscars and the Oscar after parties with Donatella in the Versace Spring 2014 Couture collection. 2015 was her first time attending the Oscars as a performer and artist, I think that is why most fans, and probably Gaga herself, prefer to think of it as her Oscar debut.
