I don't think cracker is a slur and it isn't worth a ban. It's ironic to see right wingers demand a ban when they're usually obsessed with free speech.

I do think it's inappropriate though because it's belittling someone through stereotypes. It's almost "fake-leftist" because you can't encourage acceptance and then make fun out of someone who has different life experiences and social circles than you.

Uhm, didn't the mods call the guy a cracker because of his skin colour? In that case the word was literally used as a racial slur but I guess it's fine cause the person in question is white? I understand the lack of empathy but I don't understand why Americans speak of progress but are literally not even trying at all and continues to fight fire with fire.
