Also, isn't it the only one of her solo albums to go to #1 in the US? It was one of those albums that I loved on first listen, but over the years it did not age well, like at all Also, who cares about whether or not it went #1? It was the first Gwen solo project in a decade, I’m sure people were hyped for that reason alone. The lead wasn’t even anything iconic. Bling 31,374
LAMB 100000% but TSE has some bops. Too bad "Candyland" didn't make it on the album. TSE as a whole is just a little off... TIWTTFL is actually awesome too...
KORG 4,756
LAMB was the blueprint for The Fame. I dont believe for one second that LAMB wasn't used as an example of what TF should be.

I can’t see it like truly I wanna know cause I’m recalling the two eras but I can’t make the connection between the both of them I see lamb as wonderland, harajuku, experimental i see tf as electronic, 80s, glam, dark

Businesswise they're very similar albums.

I really love Used to Love You, and I find it so powerful when performed live, but yes, it’s a very different album from her first two solo ventures. I listen to several of the tracks off the album almost daily. But of course different people have different tastes, and I agree that her first two albums overall are stronger. Yea it’s not a horrible album, it’s just not as iconic as LAMB or even TSE. It’s just cute I’m tired and angry but somebody should be

beli8 1,424
I agree about Truth not being as iconic, but it has a few songs that I am highly obsessed with (including Obsessed lol), that remind me of the quirkyness of LAMB and TSE. So I still hold it up high, while thinking of it being a completely different Gwen (post Gavin, which is a big change).
Esteban 2,300
1. What You Waiting For? vs Wind It Up 2. Rich Girl vs The Sweet Escape 3. Hollaback Girl vs Orange County Girl 4. Cool vs Early Winter 5. Bubble Pop Electric vs Now That You Got It 6. Luxurious vs 4 In the Morning 7. Harajuku Girls vs Yummy 8. Crash vs Fluorescent 9. The Real Thing vs Breakin’ Up 10. Serious vs Don’t Get It Twisted 11. Danger Zone vs You Started It 12. Long Way to Go vs Wonderful Life LAMB by far even if TSE is nice too, but her first solo album is pop perfection so it's hard to top it
TipsyGagaFan 320
Wait… not me getting to listen to only one album tonight and choosing TSE… perhaps… TSE>LAMB?? I’m tired and angry but somebody should be
TipsyGagaFan 320
Ok I think I got it. LAMB is objectively better, however TSE is a more cohesive album Also TSE cover is objectively better I’m tired and angry but somebody should be
