Everyone that wanted to be vaccinated is already vaccinated (except third world countries), there's nothing else we can do to stop the virus. The new variants are not as bad as the past ones and the symptoms are regular cold symptoms. Vaccinated people are not dying so I don't get why we should stop living our lives, the virus isn't going anywhere and we need to learn to live with it.

Not you saying this when I’m being pulled from my job at a cancer center that is severely short staffed to work at our main hospital AND get large sums of overtime WHILE going to nursing school full time because of how high our COVID rates are. Most hospitals dont even have policies/protocols in place for my certification, but they are DESPERATE right now. You’re entitled to your opinion, but I don’t appreciate the sarcasm and dramatics

That is not accurate

And as long as we don't achieve herd immunity through mass vaccination, the likelihood of a vaccine busting variant grows every day.

Lil Nas X and Coldplay have pulled out of the U.K.’s annual Jingle Bell Ball after members of their respective teams tested positive for COVID-19.

Captial FM, which hosts the weekend concert festival, took to Twitter on Saturday to break the news. “Sadly we have to announce that Coldplay and Lil Nas X have had to pull out of performing at this weekend’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard,” Capital’s statement read. “Both acts have had members of their teams test positive for Covid-19 and therefore are not able to perform.”

“We’d like to wish the very best and a speedy recovery to Coldplay, Lil Nas X and their teams,” the statement continued. “Of course, everyone at Capital is absolutely gutted, but the show must go on…”

i'm talking more about covid running absolutely rampant here  like why any of these artists are booking gigs for 2022 is beyond me
