SATC was fun, with realistic storyline despite some aspect are fantasy, with gorgeous gorgeous aesthetic to top it all. A bit social commentary here and there was a bonus, and it felt organic. This is... a failed, humorless boring attempt at making a political and social commentary with little to no basis on real life. The fact that they just rolled up every hot political topic (some people call it wokeness) into every episode making me feel like it's a political campaign rather than a fun show. Yes, it nothing like old SATC but well, it's not called SATC season 7 after all It feels rushed, like they knew it wouldnt be renewed and had a decent closing, unlike SATC season 1 who was really a open ending. Also the first season of SATC were never about the glamour and fashion, actually they were raw and cinical while discussin the topics, after idk third or fourth season everything felt like a telenovela but with product placement every episode lol, I mean it wasn't bad but still... JLT was just decent, could have been better I guess and I'm satisfied (wouldn't mind a second season with a better writing tho) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I liked how they ended things with Carrie's hot producer and Carrie seeing Samantha off-screen. If it doesn't continue, I think it would be an ok ending. If it does come back for season 2... please lean more into real drama. That's what was so good about the premiere and first few episodes. I can't take all the "current" cringey dialogue and dealing with the teen problems, it feels like I'm watching a disney show. It was cool to see Hari Nef in this episode! Remember when that used happen all the time in SATC?? I know you all hate the new show but I hope it gets renewed!!!
