you know there is a rhyme in this country that is 

'gustakh e rasool ki aik he saza, sar tan sy juda sar tan sy juda'

it translates to 'there is only one punishment for someone who says something offensive about the prophet muhammad, that his head be chopped off from his body'

so yes religion is very scary and this country is even scarier. their religion is not there when they watch adult films or when they rob or kill people or rape them but god forbid someone love a person they want or share his opinion on religion you get this. everyday i get more and more scared

Being a part of minority population in any of South Asian country is pure hell.

Pakistan- above incident + literal genocide of non-Muslim population. (Asia/Aasia bibi -a xtian lady- case is another blasphemy example)

India- multiple lynching cases of non-Hindu and surprisingly even Hindu people too

Sri Lanka- literal civil war, because the State didn't want to treat its minority population (Sri Lankan Tamil Hindus) equally and with dignity

Bangladesh- Minority population shrinking continuously. Multiple reports of minority attack. Recently Puja pandals (worshipping places) of Hindu were attacked.

Bhutan is quite peaceful, except it literally threw out million of Nepalese people from the country in the 90s.

Nepal is okay too I guess.

God will throw those people into Gehenna! What makes them think they have the right to kill someone??? Only their foolish pride! He only gave Jesus Christ authority over enacting that justice not these men! God will bring justice to all those slaughtered on the Earth just like when Abel was murdered by his brother Cain, "Abel's blood screams for justice!" And God's promise will be full filled!

Why is God watching silently now? Why tolerating all this injustice? Children getting ra*ed in Churches, people getting behead*d in the name of Is*am, people dying from diseases and all that... Why is God not doing anything?

God has given men time to rule over themselves because they don't want to be ruled by Him. They want to prove themselves they are better than God just like Adam and Eve. So he has given them that freedom to do what they want. But only for a period of time because he will not tolerate forever. His son's kingdom will come and destroy all these other imperfect kindgdoms. And his kingdom will last forever and be just, the righteous will live forever in it.

Why religious people so often feel the need to present their personal beliefs as facts is beyond me. Why do you talk about the destruction of 'imperfect kingdoms' as if it's a fact? What makes you an expert on that matter, except that you read about these stories in an old book?

I believe this rhetoric is partly responsible for the kind of radical faith that lead to that poor man's death. People can believe in whatever they want for all I care, but as soon as you start taking about your personal views as if they are the only acceptable truths, I'd rather not hear about it. Like, destruction of everything except what your god deems worthy of existence? Hello?
