Teletubby 144,598
Madonna showed off the final installment in what she called her "trilogy of tattoos" for 2021 on Instagram. The new ink, however, is in Hebrew — and it might not translate to what Madge seems to think it does. It seems the Queen of Pop had the word "וישקהו" ("Ve'yishakhu") tattooed on her wrist . In a clip on her Instagram Story, Madonna tells her daughter the word translates to "kiss" in Hebrew. " But according to the Israeli newspaper, the Hebrew word for "kiss" is "neshika," while the word Madonna picked — "Ve'yishakhu" that can be literally translated as "and kissed him and comes from a verse in Genesis that is usually "interpreted as indicating that Esau's heart was not behind the kiss he bestowed on his brother," Jacob, and is apparently used in a negative sense. source source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy

hELXIG 42,704
These people have so much money and so many industry resources and can't find a single person to verify a translation before getting it permanently tattooed on their body? And what is the significance of the Hebrew language to Madonna? There might be one, sure, but I don't feel that she respects the language and/or culture enough if she's got the wrong translation done I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. RAMROD 107,585
Why does people keep doing foreign language tattoos without the full knowledge of the language itself? And by that I mean really fluent with it for the sake of aesthetic?? Those stuffs stays forever in your skin, please think it thru! SMH! It's like pulling google translate and think those are correct word, while natively those words can what they think it means, but it also can means different thing and have different connotations altogether.
