lol. Adele ''die-hard'' fan base = the GP. What you got it right is that Taylor's sales have been fuelled by her fan base since 2017. The GP hasn't cared about Taylor since 2015.

I guess you should look up the differences between what "die-hard" fanbases do and what the GP does for an artist, and what does it mean for an album's success that the GP alone is making big streaming numbers... :reductive:

people saying REDTV did all that with 30 tracks sound so dumb lmao.

it takes twice the amount of time for you to stream the whole redtv than adele's album so by the time you stream the whole redtv once, you'll be able to stream '30' twice.

this means that 30 didnt have as much replay value as red tv, or folklore, or evermore or thank you next, or sour since they (excluding redtv) have all almost the same amount of tracks as 30 did but have outstreamed her.

good for adele but by the time she's coming with her new release, the music landscape is changing drastically so she needs to adopt and drop the ''i dont accomodate to the industry's rules'' persona.

This is not bad at all. But still it's kind of underwhelming. I mean Taylor beat her with a 9 year old album. Also this Adele's first album in 6 years. You would expect bigger numbers because of the drought. I hope some of the haters will now stop hiding behind Adele to undermine Taylor's success.

21/30 songs off Red were rerecorded 9 year old songs though but go off.

What does that have to do with anything though? They're still tracks on the album and their streams count towards the total. Whether or not they're new doesn't affect that. It's not shade or anything, just numbers.

On topic: The stream number is low because the GP prefers to SPEND money on buying an Adele album. Adele is the biggest artist in the world, the fact that some people here are reacting as if Adele is flopping... :toofunny:

she wouldn't be selling those numbers or getting those streams with her fanbase alone. people are geniuenly interested in her music especially after folklore and the ideology that nobody listens to her is so so 2016 regardless you want to accept it or not.

I'm just saying when you say Red TV has more songs so you cant compare it with 30 you make it sound like an advantage when most of the songs on Red are a decade old which surely puts it at a disadvantage because these songs have already been streamed billion of times. @wook

Every stream is counted after you listen to the track for 30 seconds.
more songs = more streams, this is how all these rappers got their records.
many people listen to the whole album on the first day just to check if it is good and they never come back if they don't like it.

None of Adele songs has less than 3M streams on the first day so with 18 more tracks she could get 100M.

What do you mean? I know that the songs are re-recording and it is beyond impressive that Taylor did such numbers with it. Im just saying if Adele album had more songs, it would have more streams xd You dont have to be rude to me.
