Taylor has inspired so many new artists like Olivia for example through her songwriting making her legacy live on even through them in a way. This is not about putting them against each other as I don’t believe in that but to me Taylor has had a bigger impact in the way music is today than Adele. And even so, Adele has to catch up to Taylor if you really want to talk charts and sales, we don’t know how Adele’s rollouts will be from now on, so yes, she has achieved a lot in a shorter time with less work but she is still not there yet. Maybe she will be maybe she won’t and it’s okay, I just think Taylor is an innovator and a game changer. So what you're saying is Taylor has more impact, which is different than successful - a word that covers a lot of areas, including sales PER era. But I get what you're saying. It's the same as with Beyoncé who made the IFPI change the international release for music to Friday and credited Beyoncé for it and how Bey made the surprise release and how albums are rolled-out today a thing back in 2013. Ironically, Taylor did a 'Beyonce' when she released her album last year. So Beyoncé changed the musical landscape WHILE Adele was on top and now Taylor is changing it as well while Adele is still on top.
